Scholarships Sources

UCMI offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships designed to help you and your family pay for university. Scholarships and grants are types of gift aid that do not have to be repaid. They may take the form of University scholarships, federal or state grants, or outside scholarships.

MAIWP Full Scholarship

Offered to outstanding students who meet the eligibility requirements set by MAIWP. Includes sponsorship of tuition fees, hostel, transportation and monthly allowance throughout studies involving diploma studies.

MAIWP Scholarship : Pro-Tahfiz Programme

Offered to students who meet the ‘had kifayah’ calculation set by MAIWP. The sponsorship provided includes tuition fees and monthly allowance throughout the studies involving few programes in PICOMS.

MAIWP Scholarship : Foundation Programme

Offered to students who meet the ‘had kifayah’ calculation set by MAIWP. The sponsorship provided includes tuition fees and monthly allowance throughout the studies involving foundation programe.

MAIWP Scholarship : Foundation PICOMS + Medicine & Dentistry MAHSA University

Offered to students who meet the ‘had kifayah’ calculation set by MAIWP. The sponsorship provided includes tuition fees and monthly allowance throughout the studies involving foundation programe in PICOMS. Further studies in Medicene and Dentistry at MAHSA University for those selected, sponsored by MAIWP only for limited students.

Bantuan Am Pelajaran Baitulmal

Offered to students who meet the ‘had kifayah’ calculation set by MAIWP. The sponsorship provided includes hostel, transportation and monthly allowance throughout the studies involving diploma and bachelor’s degree studies.

Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)

The PTPTN Education Loan Scheme was established for the purpose of providing education loans to students studying at local Higher Education Institutions (IPT). This education loan will allow students to finance all or part of the tuition fees as well as the cost of living throughout the period of study involving diploma and bachelor’s degree studies.

Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Perkerja (KWSP/EPF)

Students who have EPF account or students who have a parent or guardian who contributes to the EPF can make EPF withdrawals to fund tuition fees.

Pantai Hospital Ampang

Offered to student who meet the eligibility requirements including the quota of students set by Pantai Hospital Ampang. The full sponsorship will cover the tuition fees, hostel, transportation, and monthly allowance throughout duration of studies involving Diploma in Nursing program.

Hospital Pakar Al-Islam

Offered to student who meet the eligibility requirements including the quota of students set by Hospital Pakar Al-Islam. The partial sponsorship will cover the tuition fees and monthly allowance throughout duration of studies involving Diploma in Nursing program.

Hospital Pusrawi

Offered to student who meet the eligibility requirements including the quota of students set by Hospital Pusrawi. The partial sponsorship will cover the tuition fees and monthly allowance throughout duration of studies involving Diploma in Nursing program.

OTHERS ALTERNATIVE FOR EDUCATION FUNDING
